Aerial Filming

Lomas Helicopters specialise in aerial and helicopter filming & photography all over the UK. Our single engined AS350B2 squirrel Helicopter has all the necessary fitments for a variety of aerial camera systems including the Cineflex, Eclipse, Wescam and Tyler. This aircraft also provides an ideal camera platform because of its extremely low vibration levels and excellent open door characteristics. It is also suitably equipped and approved for all types of overwater photography.

With over 25 years experience it is important to know that all of our pilots have 1000′s of hours flying experience working with aerial photographers and film companies. Our helicopter film services include feature films, television and commercials as well as action vehicles and ground crew.

You have the option of having the aircraft doors removed, which allows plenty of room for filming all angles or you can use the sliding window if you prefer not to hang out of the helicopter. The camera operator is securely held in with a harness.

AERIAL SURVEY

Our aircraft can be used for photographing estates to help with land management, such as forestry, drainage, river management and future planning to enable the customer to see at a glance both the overall picture and to make a detailed analysis of specific areas. This suits the needs of Town & Country planners, road and rail transport, archeology and surveillance, using a range of techniques including infrared film and high and low angle oblique photography.
